NPR has recently purchased a Powerboss Track Scrubber that should help to significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to cleanup oildowns. The $60,000 piece of equipment dispenses high detergent fluid; brushes it in; squeegies take up the excess; rinses; vaccums the residue; and then lights propane torches on the rear to help dry the track.

NHRA requires that a Powerboss be on hand for all national events, and NPR now has a full array of track equipment to keep the track as safe as possible.
