Thank you so much for delivering the two abandoned basset hounds to the rescue group out of N.O. I have emailed Leslie at the rescue group and she told me that they named the dogs Coco and Emily. They are about 3 years old and both tested positive for heart worms. They have no foster families as of now so they are boarding the dogs at the animal hospital. Being boarded has got to be a better life than being dumped on the side of the road. They will be treated for the heart worms and spayed & neutered. Hopefully some family will adopt these two sweet dogs who didn't deserve this life. No Problem Raceway has donated two 3-day weekend passes to the basset hound rescue groups benefit auction to help with their care for the time being. Once again, thanks again from the bottom of my heart. I just don't understand how someone could do this to two innocent animals.
