Adding to the the streak that may never end, Rose Ezell pummeled the competition Saturday @ State Capitol Raceway. No other brand of race machines has won a Super Pro bout in South Louisana since Aug. 9th. Ezell fired salvos all night long with 3 dead-on 8.15 runs and stellar reactions including a perfect .000 in the finals, where runner up Jason Adams' .004 was not enough to hold off the hard charging pink car.

Yellow appears to be the color of the month as E-Z Chassis continued a final round streak going all the way back to August 2nd. If there was a final round within driving distance, E-Z Chassis was there. Team E-Z also added to its Wally collection bringing the total to five. Since the E-Z brand was released no other brand has grabbed more Wallys @ local National Dragster Challenges.

Starting way back at the beginning of August,Brian Schexnayder initiated a final round streak where he would lose only two rounds in the next 21. Schexnayder marched into NPR the next week and went straight to the winner's circle, keeping the E-Z torch burning. Not satisfied with his performance @ S.C.R., B.B. Racing picked his way through eliminations on September 20 in Baton Rouge, after winning the Friday night warm up, rectifying his loss to "Unstoppable Wayne" in the finals. It was the Lake based racer's forth final in as many tries.

In the midst of the action, young gun Johnny Ezell wanted to have his input on the record. Ezell packed up the MRE's and drove east to the 600 ft strip at Mobile to escape the weather and hone his skills against the seasoned competitors of South Mississippi and Alabama, where the winner would pack up $2000 to take home. JWEIIII would not disappoint, lying out 3 dead on 7.07's in a row and never being slower than .01 on those passes at the tree, including a .015 package in the finals.

As impressive as the streak was the "Simplicity in Design" group was not done. One week later at N.P.R.'s National Dragster Challenge, E-Z Chassis and the "G-town Boyz" put on another show. With 2 cars left @ 5 entries the "Nation of Domination" appeared primed for another final round finish. Trey Sholar, from Gonzales, reeled off a string of dead-on runs and was dominate at the tree, a performance demonstrating why he is on a "Wally" per year average since switching to E-Z Chassis. Sholar would go on to knock heads with Keith Hunter also of Gonzales,(see:G-town Boyz) a perennial thorn in the side of Quick 16 till they essentially outlawed him. With Hunter .016 over and Sholar .019 over it was a race to the finish line where Sholar's reaction time would take him there first.

"What's my name?"
Team E-Z customers continued to demonstrate "value for the money" satisfaction at the middle of the season mark. Recent chassis customer Brian Schexnayder finished in two finals in a row at the local points bouts and Team E-Z maintains points leads in four different competitions. One team member has already nabbed a King of the Track crown.

Brian Schexnayder was a special needs customer. He requested a custom chassis to fit those needs. Working directly with the chassis designer, Schexnayder conveyed those requirements and the product of that labor bore fruit at the last two points races @ both State Capitol and No Problem Raceways. B.B. racing unloaded a string of .00 lights and pelted the field with a slough of 8.13's. Only a slight misreading of raw data kept Schexnayder from sealing the deal as he reeled off another .004 light on perennial stand out Wayne Henry. "I thought my car would slow in the finals according to the numbers. It didn't." The family packed race team didn't have to wait long for redemption. One week later in Belle Rose, B.B. Racing proved once again that he and his E-Z Chassis had "only what you need to win." The Lake-based racer waded through the Super Pro competitors and would not be denied this time in the finals, as he spurned tough guy Kris Morris with a .006 reaction. Schexnayder tightened the finish to a .00 margin of victory with his incremental indicating another dead-on finish.

The "Simplicity in Design" brand continued to hold leads in competitions around the Southeast. Wyatt Ezell held onto the King of the Coast points lead and is only 10 points out of the Quick 16 lead after engine woes caused him to not qualify at the last SCR event. Perry Comeaux continued to lead the NPR Super Pro top spot and remained atop the Division 4 Good Guys Challenge. "The American Underdog" also secured the 2008 King of the Track Super Pro title at NPR. A source close to the competitors commented "We get asked alot by potential customers how these E-Z Chassis measure up against much more expensive brands they see at divisional and nationals races. Although we haven't had any customers running those races, we compete against those same cars locally every week. If you look at the races and points we DO run and you compare the amount of money we put out to the amount we take in, these cars have a clear advantage over assembly line priced models."
