i would like to know how you are going to run the wally and the hur.ally race at the same time sounds to me that if some one is in both they will have a unfair advantage of more runs than ones that dont the wally race is a npr and i should not have to enter hur.ally race if i choose just to stay even $$$$ is high enouth to race sat&sun for the npr races

Keith The way it was explained to me was that if you were going to run the Q-16 NPR race you buy a tech card from the gate like normal and then if you wanted to run the Hurricane race you would then buy a tech card from the Hurricane guys set up near the staging lanes ( by the flag pole). So If you were going to run only the Hurricane I guess you would pay to get in then buy your tech card from Hurricane. But they are only running two classes Street and Pro-open. My concern is we are going to have 3 bike classes on Saturday what happens to the guys that run the Q-16 and Hurricane ??? Hey Ninja how about some info on this matter ??

so if i run q16 only and some one runs both q16 & huralley they get free t.t for the other race they just did not run in and so on. not fair to pental. the one only runing q16 for the wally just because he does not run hur. alley are has $$$$ proms.

Keep you panties on Keith, lol....

The Quick 16 wally race starts at 12 noon. The Hurricane Alley race, which is only Street ET and Pro Open, is starting at 5pm according to Wayne.

You are right saying that it would be unfair for someone that is still in the Quick 16 race to start making runs in the Hurricane Alley race. This needs to be handled by Wayne and Joffrion to come up with a solution.

We were not aware of the change in times until two days ago. Actually that works out well for the issues expressed. We already had 5000 flyers and 2000 emails out saying racing is at 5pm.

I would guess the Quick 16 will be practically over before the first Hurrricane alley time trials start. 90% think racing starts at 5pm. The four motorcycles in the Quick 16 semis/finals, might be racing when we do time trials,, and our eliminations aren't likely to start until most if not all bikes are eliminated from the Q-16.

We have a tournment style championship in Pro-Open and Street-et. Instead of points, you become eligible for the Championship race at our Dec 6th finals with a WIN/RU/SEMI. Both the classes at NPR are in that Top Gun tournament. Winner gets $1000 no matter what the turnuot. We spoke with Pat, to add thse classzes, to make sure LA racers had more opportunities to become eligible for that race. We know the economy made a dent in people's travleing budgets. by running these classes at NPR, any racers that couldn't make road trips to San Antonio for chasing points, now have a much better chance at the Championship and the $1000 winner payout.

suzuki, send me you phone number if you want, and we can discuss any format/timing changes that keep things fair for the Q-16 racers. I have some ideas, but need to udnerstand your concern better.
email: Wayne@haraces.com

thanks
wayne

I think the $1000 payout is only at the finals at the end of the year, right Wayne?? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Right Patrick.
The $1000 is for the Chamionship winner at the Dec 5th finals in Baytown. The only racers who can enter Dec 5th, are the Winner/RU/SEMI from previous races. So the NPR race can get you eligible. Eligibility includes free Test and Tune all day Dec 5th. The tournament starts at 5pm and a regular race starts in the morning.

At NPR, Street ET payout ranges from $300-400:WIN, $100-200:R/U, 0-$75:SEMI depending on # of entries. (starts at 6 racers) See WWW.HARACES.COM for details

you don't fit in, never did.

just kidding Peter. Pro-open is a wild card. There is a bar tier and a no-bar tier. Anything goes but nitro. You get in that you might be facing a Pro-stock or no one at all. Winner of each tier faces the other winner. Strange payout too, $50 per lap won (no byes). Then $200/$100 in the bar vs no-bar final. If the only bar entry, you can do no worse then the $100 R/U prize even against a dozen 7 second no-bar bikes. Like I said strange. but it's our attempt to get some of the old Texas Shootout Top gas guys to come out again.

To sum it up, Pro Open is a 'heads up' class.

Right, Pro-OPen get's over with quick. We had less than six entries in the two previous races.
