No Problem Raceway will begin the 2007 year with a MINIMUM CAR GUARANTEED PURSE for the January 27th Miller Lite drag race.

Quick-16 non-qualifiers fall into Super-Pro round 1. NPR reserves the right to correct or modify this schedule at any time before the January 27th, 2007 event. If this type of purse will increase the number of racers and fans, we will modify our 2007 schedule to the above payouts schedule. Also for 2007, before the end of April, we will announce the dates for BONUS PAYOUT events, and special feature races. As always, your comments and suggestions are appreciated. I think the runner up in S/P should get $500.00 and the winner $1250.00 because the runner up makes as many passes on their race car as the winners do.

I agree Potat, the runner up money needs some adjusting. I'd like to see one of these scales for Non-E. All scales are using the same money as the existing one.(50 car min.)
1.- $1000 winner - $450 r/u - $100 semi's - $0 quarters 2.- $900 winner - $450 r/u - $100 semi's - $25 quarters 3.- $800 winner - $450 r/u - $100 semi's - $50 quarters Pat? Linda? Any thoughts? |

Personally, I am in favor of "balancing" the payouts. More so than not, the finalists do some sort of "split" among themselves, but the first question that we get on the phone and in the tower is, "How much is the winner's purse?". We will look at how other tracks are working their payouts and try to keep ours in line with the rest.

I AGREE- in S/P based on a 50- car count payout I would prefer to see a payout more like this-
#1,000.00 winner #500,00.00 r/u #200.00 semi. $75.00 qtr. My two cents--- Barry |

I agree that the winner payout is heavy. I like the thought behind spreading it out more all the way down to the quarters. 1K, $500, $200, $75 on the 50 car count is good. Why not poll the racers to see what they prefer instead of what others are doing? You could hand out flyers at the gate with some percentage options and ask them to fill them out then turn them in with the tech cards!

I agree with Chuck, the flyers would at least represent Your Racers...
PS- Please replace INK cartidge at return booth, I'm getting older and can't read it!!! |
