Folks, just wanted to let yall know about this race. Brandon LeBoeuf in case you didn't know him was one of the managers at Cycle World in Houma. He raced at NPR when his schedule allowed and also was a very accomlished stock car racer. A couple of years ago his wife died in a tragic auto accident. They have two young children and Brandon of course took it very hard but always did his best for his kids. Again tragically last August Brandon died suddenly from an upexpected illness. Although they have much help from their families the kids now have lost both of their parents in a fairly short period of time. On April 19th & 20th there will be a race held in Brandon's name to help with the childrens education expenses. On Saturday (19th) it will be a drag race event with Jr's included and on Sunday it will be a motorcycle road course event. Along with the race on Saturday there will be a Jambalya cook off, space walks for the kids, stunt show exhibition and live music. There are no other local races held in our area that weekend so if you can find the time please try and come out and race that weekend. The flyer for this event should be ready by next week But Ellen Diedrich the Cycle World Marketing & PR Coordinator sent me this preliminary info about the race weekend. Again this a great cause so if you have some time please try and attend. Thanks

Still waiting on the final flyer for the race. Hopefully soon. I'll post something about this race also on Br's website, I don't think there is a competing race that weekend.
